Privacy Policy

We may collect your account email, contact details, passport details entered for a manual filing report, tax-residency answers, income-form values, support communications, and technical information such as device, browser, IP address, and security logs.

When you pay, Stripe processes your card information. We receive transaction identifiers, payment status, billing email, and related records, but we do not store full card numbers.

The workspace may process user-confirmed values from Forms W-2 and 1042-S. Passport numbers saved to the connected database are encrypted by the application before storage.

Do not submit Social Security numbers, ITINs, passport images, account numbers, home addresses, or other unnecessary identifiers to the AI chat. Redact documents before using AI or OCR features unless the interface specifically states that a field is required for the service.

We use information to provide and secure accounts, calculate supported tax results through deterministic software, prepare filing guidance, process document extraction, answer support requests, manage purchases and refunds, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

AI is not authorized to determine the tax amounts shown in your report. Calculated amounts come from the versioned rules engine.

We use service providers including Vercel for hosting, Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for payments, OpenAI for knowledge retrieval and AI-assisted explanations, and Baidu PaddleOCR for document extraction. Information may be processed in countries other than your own.

We share only the information reasonably required for each provider to perform its service. We do not sell personal information.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain transaction and compliance records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type.

We use access controls, transport encryption, server-side secret management, and application-level encryption for stored passport numbers. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible personal information by emailing support@itreatly.com. We may retain records where required for tax, payment, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes.
